Job Description
Hotel Maintenance Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hotel Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper upkeep and functionality of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the building's infrastructure, equipment, and interior spaces to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hotel facilities equipment to ensure optimal operation. Utilize hand tools effectively for repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks across various building systems. Maintain the interior spaces of the hotel, including walls, ceilings, floors, and fixtures, through painting and minor repairs. Address maintenance requests promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and safety. Conduct inspections of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and lighting to identify issues early. Assist with emergency repairs and respond swiftly to urgent maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supplies used. Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal disruption. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance, preferably within the hospitality industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and basic repair equipment. Knowledge of building interior maintenance techniques including painting and minor repairs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff. Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and perform preventive maintenance tasks. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining safety standards. Pay:
