The role involves both routine maintenance tasks like lubrication and inspections, as well as more complex repairs.
Responsibilities may include:
Performing routine maintenance on cranes. Inspecting cranes for potential issues. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Replacing and repairing crane parts. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Technician to join our team. This role involves providing on-site maintenance and repair services for various types of mobile cranes, bucket trucks and hy-rail units. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge or a strong mechanical ability to learn. Also must ensure that all repairs are conducted efficiently and effectively while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on mobile cranes in a mobile environment. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment issues accurately. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. Repair or replace defective parts, using OEM specifications. Maintain accurate work orders of services performed, parts used, customer interactions and residual work that may need to be done. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs and repair status. Uphold safety standards while working in various environments. Requirements Some experience in mobile crane systems. Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. Experience with OEM parts and standards a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel to various job sites as required.
