This position is focused on keeping the facility clean, safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have experience with basic building repairs, painting, patching, fixture replacement, and general upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and minor repairs throughout the commercial facility Patch and repair drywall, walls, and other surfaces Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-up work Replace light bulbs and basic lighting components as needed Replace ceiling tiles, floor tiles, and other basic building materials Repair or replace door hardware, handles, hinges, and other basic fixtures Perform basic plumbing-related repairs such as replacing faucets, toilet components, and minor leaks Assemble, install, or repair basic furniture, shelving, and facility fixtures Perform routine building inspections and identify maintenance needs Complete preventative maintenance and general facility upkeep Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all building safety procedures and company policies Assist with other general facility maintenance tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Previous experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities maintenance, handyman work, or a related field preferred Basic knowledge of painting, drywall repair, patching, and general building repairs Comfortable using common hand and power tools Ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance requests Good communication and customer-service skills Ability to safely lift, carry, and move maintenance materials and equipment Ability to work from ladders and perform tasks that require standing, bending, reaching, and walking throughout the facility

Pay:

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
