Description:
Maintenance Technician Location:
Portland, OR Pay:
$30 / HR to $37 /
HR Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced maintenance tasks on manufacturing and packaging equipment, including diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Identify and troubleshoot complex issues with manufacturing and packaging equipment. Provide solutions and perform necessary repairs. Monitor the performance of production equipment, including refrigeration systems used for IQF processes, and address any irregularities or malfunctions promptly. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools specific to manufacturing and packaging equipment. Order new supplies as needed and ensure proper storage.
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance, particularly in a manufacturing environment. wuth ideal being food Strong knowledge of manufacturing and packaging equipment, including refrigeration systems used in IQF processes preferred.
Shift/Environment:
Food processing plant extreme high and low temps, GMP facility. ripened fruits frozen and packaged for retail and wholesale use. Day shift

  • 2:30pm Swing shift
  • 2pm-11:30pm Currently working 45-55 hour weeks!
One weekend day is required
