Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding projects, and mechanical components using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and residential painting to maintain the property's aesthetic appeal. Operate testing tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices to identify faults accurately. Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during large projects or repairs, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and equipment history. Collaborate with the front desk or guest services team to address urgent repair requests promptly, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or residential environment; supervisory experience is preferred. Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and familiarity with mechanical systems used in large buildings or manufacturing settings. Ability to read technical schematics and troubleshoot complex systems efficiently. Experience with residential painting, plumbing repairs, and general building maintenance tasks. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with team members and vendors.
