Job Type:
Full-Time, Direct Hire We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently through routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment improvements. What You'll Do Complete routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on production equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine the cause of equipment failures. Respond to equipment breakdowns and make timely repairs to minimize production downtime. Replace worn, damaged, or defective components as needed. Disassemble, clean, service, and reassemble equipment when necessary. Keep machinery properly lubricated and maintained for reliable operation. Identify parts and supplies that need to be replaced and communicate those needs to the appropriate person. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and completed work through a computerized maintenance system. Help keep the maintenance shop, storage areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized. Work with management to plan and coordinate preventative maintenance activities. Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and testing. Partner with production and maintenance leadership when equipment changes or improvements are needed. Review equipment performance and make adjustments or recommendations to improve reliability and efficiency. Follow all safety procedures and perform other maintenance-related duties as needed. What We're Looking For Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience is preferred. Technical school, vocational training, or related college coursework is a plus; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Comfortable working independently while also being a team player. Good communication and organizational skills. Able to prioritize work and respond effectively in a busy production environment. Self-directed, dependable, and detail-oriented. Comfortable using computerized maintenance systems to track work and repairs. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Physical Requirements Ability to spend extended periods standing and walking throughout the facility. Able to bend, reach, push, pull, climb, and work in various positions while servicing equipment. Comfortable working from ladders and elevated areas when required. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to visually inspect machinery and identify potential issues. Willingness to work in varying temperatures, including warmer and cooler production environments. May occasionally work around dust, fumes, airborne particles, and other typical manufacturing conditions. Safety equipment, including eye and hearing protection, must be worn in designated areas.
