In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of floor care tasks, including cleaning, polishing, buffing, waxing, and refinishing floors to ensure a pristine environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all types of flooring surfaces using appropriate equipment and chemical agents. Conduct floor scrubbing, buffing, strip and waxing, and refinishing to restore and maintain optimal floor appearance. Handle cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, polishers, and carpet cleaners with precision and safety. Manage the safe handling and application of floor cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety protocols. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or equipment during cleaning or maintenance projects. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance logs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally while ensuring a clean environment. Skills Proven experience in floor scrubbing, cleaning, and floor care techniques. Knowledge of chemical agents used in floor cleaning and refinishing processes. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as buffers, polishers, and carpet cleaners safely. Strong manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving equipment or furniture. Familiarity with environmental services standards and best practices for commercial cleaning environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Attention to detail in performing routine inspections and quality control checks on flooring surfaces.
