Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across a variety of systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced setting that values innovation and teamwork. As part of the hiring process, candidates will be required to complete a hands-on physical assessment to demonstrate their maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Duties & Responsibilities Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems. Inspect equipment, machinery, and building systems to identify maintenance and repair needs. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and facility-related issues to determine appropriate corrective actions. Complete routine repairs and maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Assist with construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects while maintaining safety compliance. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and facilities. Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively. Order and maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and materials needed for repairs and maintenance activities. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills & Abilities Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. General knowledge of carpentry, repair, and facility maintenance practices. Welding knowledge and experience are helpful. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations. Effective communication skills and attention to detail. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous maintenance, construction, mechanical, or related experience preferred. On-the-job training provided. Technical certifications or vocational training are a plus. Additional Requirements Must provide own basic maintenance tools. Yearly tool allowance available. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Ability to climb ladders and work in confined or awkward spaces. Must be able to safely work at heights up to 25 feet indoors and up to 35 feet on rooftops while following all safety procedures. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
