Full Job Description Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician Pay:
$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
Part-Time, Up to 30 Hours per Week We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our facility. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand tools, and the ability to complete a variety of maintenance and repair projects. Schedule Up to 30 hours per week Afternoon availability is strongly preferred Ideal schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Flexible scheduling options available, including 3-4 days per week, provided afternoon coverage can be maintained Responsibilities Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance tasks Complete facility improvement projects as assigned Pick up trash and maintain cleanliness of facility grounds and work areas Sweep, mop, and perform general housekeeping duties Replace floor tiles, light bulbs, and complete basic office repairs Assemble office desks, furniture, and equipment Conduct routine safety and compliance inspections Support additional facility maintenance needs as assigned Qualifications Previous maintenance experience is preferred but not required Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in maintaining a safe and clean environment, and is willing to take on a variety of maintenance and facility-related responsibilities. A positive attitude, flexibility, and strong work ethic are key to success in this role.
