Residential Maintenance Technician

•HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical About the Position Easy Home Sale is hiring an experienced Residential Maintenance Technician to perform property maintenance, home repairs, remodeling, and property-turn work. This hands-on role requires practical experience with residential HVAC and heating systems, plumbing, light electrical, carpentry, and general home repair. The technician will inspect homes, diagnose problems, determine practical solutions, and complete common repairs independently. Much of the work involves homes and rental properties. Applicants do not need to be experts in every trade; specialized or licensed work will be referred to outside contractors. Primary Responsibilities Inspect homes and properties, identify repair needs, diagnose problems, and prepare material lists. Diagnose and repair residential HVAC and heating systems, including furnaces, boilers, baseboard heating, thermostats, pumps, and zone valves. Complete plumbing repairs involving leaks, faucets, toilets, drains, shutoff valves, supply lines, fixtures, and water heaters. Perform light electrical repairs involving outlets, switches, lighting, fans, and basic troubleshooting. Complete residential maintenance, remodeling, and property-turn projects. Perform carpentry and finish work involving cabinets, doors, windows, trim, baseboards, drywall, framing, painting, subfloors, and flooring preparation. Troubleshoot appliances and other common household systems. Coordinate outside contractors when specialized or licensed work is required. Communicate project progress, material needs, and potential delays. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas. Participate in after-hours maintenance calls and on-call responsibilities. Required Qualifications and Experience Several years of hands-on experience in residential maintenance, home repair, remodeling, construction, or property turns. Working knowledge of residential HVAC, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ability to assess problems, choose practical solutions, and complete common repairs independently. General carpentry and home-repair skills. Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Experience safely using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment. Valid driver's license. Ability to travel between properties. Ability to perform physical work throughout the day. Availability for on-call responsibilities and occasional overtime. Preferred Experience Experience with finish carpentry, cabinets, trim, doors, windows, drywall, painting, appliances, subfloor repairs, flooring preparation, residential remodeling, or rental property maintenance is beneficial.
