Job Description

Fort Atkinson, WI Pay:
Based on Experience 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM , with 8-10 hour shifts and every other Saturday. Sundays may occasionally be required. 3rd
Shift:
Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:00 AM , with Fridays available/required as overtime. Candidates hired for 3rd shift will need to train on 1st shift initially. Position Overview We are seeking reliable Maintenance Technicians with strong electrical and mechanical experience and a background in manufacturing or industrial maintenance . Candidates must be comfortable using a tape measure , troubleshooting equipment, and working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to established programs and procedures. Read and interpret maintenance manuals, electrical schematics, blueprints, and parts lists. Inspect machinery and facility systems to identify potential issues and recommend corrective action. Maintain, repair, and improve manufacturing and production equipment. Perform basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fabrication work. Operate cutting torches, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools as needed. Repair and maintain interior and exterior building systems. Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 5S principles. Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all safety standards. Work effectively with production personnel and other departments. Follow company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Previous industrial maintenance or manufacturing experience required . Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills . Electrical experience required. Ability to use a tape measure and common maintenance tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation. Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and basic electrical systems. Strong reliability and attendance. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards. Welding and fabrication experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to safely lift and move materials, tools, and equipment as required. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and production demands.

From $25.00 per hour
