Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description Join a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing the functionality of precision stainless and specialty alloy tubing products. This role involves maintaining plant equipment including mills, saws, conveyors, pumps, motors, hydraulics, forklifts, as well as manual and CNC equipment. Responsibilities Perform maintenance on various plant equipment such as mills, saws, conveyors, pumps, motors, and hydraulics. Conduct electrical duties including wiring control systems using electrical schematics. Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and connect power supply wires to machine and building equipment. Handle 3-phase power up to 480v and perform PLC troubleshooting. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment longevity. Perform welding and fabrication duties as needed. Essential Skills 5 years of industrial maintenance experience. Electrical troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and 3-phase power. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform preventive maintenance. Experience with pneumatics and mechanical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma required. Ability to adapt to new technologies and work independently or as part of a team. Why Work Here? The company offers a very stable work environment with strong benefits and insurance. Work Environment The facility employs approximately 120 individuals across three shifts, operating in a non-union shop. The workplace is very safe and friendly. Employees will work varied shifts, with training periods lasting from 1 to 6 weeks based on individual progress. The job may include working roughly one Saturday a month, with potential training on day shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00- $72800.
