Job Description
Lemke Fence - Join a Team That Builds Quality Join our growing team and build a long-term career in the fencing and construction industry. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who can learn the trade, take on increasing responsibility, and potentially grow into a Crew Foreman position . As a Fence Installer/Laborer, you will work outdoors with an experienced crew installing residential, commercial, and agricultural fencing throughout Southern Wisconsin. You do not need years of fence experience—we are willing to train the right person. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is interested in eventually helping lead a crew and manage jobsites. Responsibilities Assist with installation of wood, vinyl, chain-link, ornamental, and custom fences Use hand and power tools such as drills, saws, post drivers, and other construction equipment Measure and lay out fence lines according to project plans Lift and move materials such as posts, panels, concrete bags, and fencing supplies (typically under 100 lbs) Mix and place concrete for fence posts and structural footings Follow jobsite safety procedures at all times Help maintain a clean and organized jobsite Required Qualifications Valid driver's license Basic tape measure reading ability Reliable and dependable Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions Preferred Experience (Not Required) Construction or fence installation experience Experience in operating hand and power tools Welding experience Familiarity with equipment such as skid steers, augers, post drivers, or forklifts CDL What Matters Most We are not necessarily looking for someone who already knows everything about fencing.
