The General Maintenance Engineer plays an important role in creating a weing, safe, andfortable environment for our guests and colleagues. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall condition and functionality of the hotel through general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs throughout guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house operations. This role requires a hands-on individual who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and ismitted to maintaining Hyatt's high standards of excellence. Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and hotel facilities Complete preventative maintenance assignments and inspections Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and laundry equipment issues Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and service calls Maintain a clean,anized, and safe work environment Support hotel operations by assisting with facility upkeep and special projects as needed Follow all Hyatt safety standards and operational procedures Deliver friendly, professional service to guests and fellow associates Schedule & Pay

$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

Qualifications Must have experience performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment. Customer service experience is preferred, preferably in a hotel or related field Must have schedule flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays Requires strongmand of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction Must be able to multi-task Must be 18 years or older A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amount of weight (minimum of 20 lbs) Must possess basicputer skills, i.e. Word, Excel, etc
