Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration, and kitchen equipment across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the seamless operation of our organization. Duties Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances. Install, calibrate, and upgrade appliances and mechanical systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Conduct HVAC system repairs including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Collaborate with team members on construction projects or upgrades that impact mechanical or electrical systems within facilities. Skills Extensive experience with appliance repair, HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and mechanical systems repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues quickly and effectively. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for accurate diagnostics and repairs. Skilled in appliance installation and kitchen equipment maintenance to support operational efficiency. Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly. Experience working with maintenance operations including repair & operations (MRO) practices in diverse environments. Ability to operate construction tools safely and efficiently; experience with construction projects is a plus. Pay:
$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
