Launch a hands-on career in manufacturing maintenance with paid training, one-on-one mentorship, and growth opportunities. Edgewater Door is looking for mechanically inclined individuals who are eager to learn how production equipment works—from safe machine operation to troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. Previous maintenance experience is helpful but not required; we will train the right candidate who brings curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn. In this role, you'll train alongside an experienced Maintenance Technician while learning both production operations and maintenance fundamentals. First Shift Position:
Monday through Friday; 8 hours per day. Overtime may be required based on needs. $23.00/hour or higher based on related experience and qualifications Why Start Your Career at Edgewater Door? What You'll Learn and Do:
Working side by side with an experienced Maintenance Technician, you will learn how to:
  • Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment safely
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment
  • Assist with repairs, part replacement, equipment adjustments, and preventive maintenance
  • Develop mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
  • Read equipment manuals and work orders to complete maintenance tasks
  • Support scheduled maintenance, machine service, and occasional emergency repairs
  • Assist with facility maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, fabrication, and installation work
  • Help ensure equipment and work areas are safe, reliable, and ready for production
  • Work overtime when needed based on production needs Who We're Looking For

Experience and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Associate degree, technical school training, or current enrollment in an industrial maintenance program preferred, but not required
  • Previous maintenance, mechanical, welding/fabrication, forklift, or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required Ready to Apply?
