A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

Here at Lakeside Foods, our maintenance technician team is the backbone of our operations, ensuring equipment runs optimally while maintaining the facility. Maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected versatile team members, performing mechanical and/or fabrication updates and using their knowledge to continuously improve production processes. If you are a creative problem-solver who perseveres through challenging equipment repairs, or is willing to learn, we want to talk with you.
What You'll Get:
$2,500 Sign-On Bonus Enjoy a 4-day work week during our off season, December to June
Production Season, running approximately from June - November, this position will work the overnight 12-hour shifts, 4 days on 2 days off rotating schedule

Company Match What You'll Do:
Repair and maintain a wide variety of food processing machinery and conveyers
Work with fabrication, installation of equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics
Assist with maintaining product flow through the plant as needed
Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies, procedures, and training requirements
What You'll Bring:
Mechanical aptitude
Prior experience with mechanical maintenance preferred
Prior welding experience is a plus
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Must have a great safety attitude
Willingness to learn/enhance skills through on the job training
