$39-42 an hour + shift premium Continental schedule: 1st shift: 6am to 630pm OR 3rd shift: 6pm to 630am on Monday, Tuesday, off Wednesday, Thursday on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and then flips; off Monday, Tuesday, on Wednesday, Thursday and off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art bakery in Oak Creek, WI. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high-speed production and packaging equipment to maximize reliability, efficiency, and uptime. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working with automated equipment, PLCs, robotics, motors, pumps, and VFDs in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and packaging equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic, and PLC-controlled systems. Diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues. Support equipment setups, adjustments, and changeovers while minimizing production downtime. Work with gears, pumps, motors, VFDs, safety systems, and other industrial equipment. Utilize PLC diagnostics and basic ladder logic, including Siemens and Allen-Bradley systems. Complete and track maintenance activities and work orders using
CMMS/EAM
software. Participate in Kaizen, TPM, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance, safety, and efficiency. Qualifications 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting skills. Experience with PLC-controlled and robotic equipment. Knowledge of motors, pumps, gears, VFDs, and industrial safety systems. Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and reliability-centered maintenance. Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and communication skills. High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field preferred. Ability to travel within North America approximately 1-2 times per year for training. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
