Shift Location:
Osseo, WI Pay:
$28.00-$34.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule:
2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday | 4:45pm-4:45am
Required Experience:
Candidates must have experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, PLC, and mechanical systems, along with the ability or willingness to learn welding skills. Job Overview Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment to minimize downtime and keep operations running efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills , along with experience working with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing equipment Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 120/208/240/480V systems Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment , including PLC wiring and programming Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Replace bearings, sensors, switches, encoders, solenoids, and other components Use multimeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify issues Assist with equipment installations, setups, and changeovers Perform emergency repairs to minimize production downtime Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs Operate hand and power tools, including drill presses and milling machines Perform machine safety inspections Assist with production support as needed Recommend improvements to equipment reliability and production processes Follow all OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), food safety, and company safety procedures Requirements Previous industrial maintenance experience Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems Experience using a multimeter Ability to read technical drawings, data sheets, and equipment documentation Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs Strong communication and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred Forklift and aerial lift certification, or willingness to obtain MIG/TIG welding experience is a plus Basic machining experience is helpful Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and twist throughout the shift Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment in a production environment Preferred Skills & Experience PLC troubleshooting, programming, and wiring Electrical repair and troubleshooting Mechanical troubleshooting Hydraulics and hydraulic components Pneumatics troubleshooting Equipment diagnostics and repair Preventive maintenance Equipment installation and wiring Machine safety inspections Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) MIG/TIG welding Forklift operation Drill press and milling machine experience Experience with 120/208/240/480V systems Food safety and quality assurance experience OSHA 10 certification Interested?
