Job Summary Responsibilities Position Overview Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and preventative maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. Functions Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment Provide emergency repairs of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service Perform maintenance duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities Continually inspect the manufacturing area for mechanical & electrical issues Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision Anticipate snow removal and salting, along with grounds maintenance as required. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Interact with contractors and provide guidance on projects/repairs Able to work in a team environment Able to work independently and provide some guidance to other technicians. Pay $27. 24 - 30.31 per hour + Shift Premium $5.50
