Base Pay:

$26.00 +, depending on experience

Work Hours:

Maintenance supports multiple shifts. Candidates may have an opportunity to work with the team to set their own Full-time schedule.

Monthly employee events At Premier Aluminum, our Maintenance Technicians play a critical role in keeping our foundry and machining operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. We're looking for a skilled, hands-on problem solver who enjoys diagnosing challenges, repairing equipment, and finding ways to prevent problems before they happen. If you're the person others turn to when equipment isn't working and you take pride in getting to the root cause—not just putting a temporary fix in place—we want to hear from you! Primary Functions Perform a variety of highly skilled maintenance work to maintain and repair structures, electrical systems and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Seeking a proactive individual with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently. Duties and Overall Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting Perform highly skilled maintenance work to maintain and repair structures, electrical systems and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Program or edit Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Respond to breakdowns to quickly restore equipment to operational status Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Follow all safety regulations and procedures Assist Maintenance Manager as needed Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Physical Requirements The physical requirements for this position require continuous standing and intermittent walking, bending, sitting, and lifting that may at times be in excess of 50Ibs, up to 100Ibs. The Maintenance Technician should have the physical and mental ability to perform the above necessary job functions while maintaining an exemplary safety record. Skills and Experience Basic math skills - counting, adding, subtracting, multiplication, division Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and the ability to diagnose and repair malfunctions In-depth knowledge of various trades Ability to quickly identify the root cause of problems and implement effective solutions Ability to work independently as well as with a team Effective communication skills with other technicians, machine operators and management At least three years experience in a manufacturing environment Premier Aluminum is an E-Verify Employer.
