A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.

Monday-Thursday 8:00p-6:30a | Overtime needs vary daily during the busy season. The hourly range for this position is $23/hr - $32/hr + $3/hr shift differential based on experience with opportunity for pay increase on an annual basis. We Offer You! What Success Looks Like:
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating machinery and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. Repair or replace defective parts and components. Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns. Collaborate with other team members to address maintenance needs. Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Assist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts and equipment. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Your Credentials:
igh school diploma or equivalent required; technical school, trade school, apprenticeship experience, or relevant certification is highly valued. Approximately two to three years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in industrial/manufacturing maintenance preferred. Strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge with proven troubleshooting abilities. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics and use maintenance tools and equipment proficiently. Experience working with multiple types of manufacturing equipment is a plus.
