Primarily Monday-Friday; winter hours vary during snow events Join the CORE Advantage Team CORE Advantage is looking for a motivated Property Maintenance / Snow Removal / General Labor Team Member to join our crew in Superior, Wisconsin. This is a hands-on position with a variety of work throughout the seasons. Depending on the time of year and workload, you may be working on lawn and property maintenance, fall cleanups, gravel and dirt projects, demolition, general labor, or snow and ice management. As we transition into winter, this position will help prepare properties and equipment for snow season and become part of our snow operation. Previous experience is a plus, but you do not need to know how to do everything on day one. We are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Depending on the season and your experience, work may include: Lawn mowing, trimming, and property maintenance Fall and spring cleanups Leaf and debris removal Gravel and dirt work Job-site and property cleanup Demolition and general labor Material handling Operating skid steers, loaders, mowers, and other equipment when qualified Staking and preparing commercial properties for snow season Snow plowing Operating loaders and skid steers for snow removal Sidewalk shoveling and snow blowing Applying salt and other de-icing materials Snow hauling and cleanup Assisting other crews and company operations as needed Your responsibilities will depend on your experience, abilities, driver's license status, and training. Qualifications Dependable and reliable Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Comfortable performing physical labor Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to work independently and as part of a crew Willing to learn multiple types of work and equipment Valid driver's license strongly preferred Equipment experience is a major plus Snow plowing experience is a plus Lawn care, landscaping, construction, demolition, or property maintenance experience is a plus CDL is a plus, but not required We're interested in both experienced applicants and people with basic experience who are motivated to learn and develop additional skills. Equipment & Vehicle Care Employees are expected to take care of the trucks, equipment, and tools they operate. Before operating a truck or piece of equipment, employees are expected to perform a proper inspection, including checking fluids, tires, lights, damage, leaks, and general condition and reporting problems before beginning work. Schedule Full-time and part-time positions are available. Normal operations are primarily Monday-Friday during daytime hours. Winter snow operations are weather-dependent. During snow and ice events, employees may be required to work early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays, or extended shifts. Applicants should be prepared for a flexible schedule during winter weather events. Pay $17.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability. Applicants with equipment-operating experience, snow-plowing experience, a valid driver's license, CDL, or other useful skills may qualify toward the higher end of the pay range.
