$22-28 depending on experience About the
Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll perform essential maintenance tasks, assist senior technicians, and contribute to preventative maintenance efforts to maintain property value, ensure resident satisfaction, and support community success.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing vacant units for market readiness under supervision. Respond promptly to resident service requests and ensure follow-ups until resolved. Support preventative maintenance tasks, including: Changing light bulbs and filters Painting, drywall patching, and lock repairs Pool maintenance (if applicable) Help with snow removal during inclement weather (by 6:00 a.m.) and maintain snow and salting logs for payroll. Perform on-call emergency services as required, sharing rotation with other maintenance staff. Document maintenance logs, timesheets, and checklists accurately. Maintain clean and debris-free grounds and common areas. Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors.
What We're Looking For:
Knowledge & Skills:
Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and familiarity with tools such as drills, saws, and meters.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma preferred; trade school training is a plus.
Licenses & Certifications:
Valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and basic tools required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
