Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial production machinery and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical equipment failures using schematics, equipment manuals, and troubleshooting techniques to minimize production downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, rollers, gearboxes, motors, pumps, valves, and related industrial equipment. Respond to production equipment breakdowns, determine the root cause of failures, and safely return machinery to operation. Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components. Assist with electrical troubleshooting involving motors, sensors, switches, wiring, and related industrial equipment. Inspect equipment for wear and potential failures and lubricate, adjust, tighten, repair, or replace components as needed. Assist with equipment repairs, modifications, installations, and plant improvement projects. Maintain detailed records of preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and completed maintenance work. Collaborate with maintenance technicians, production operators, and leadership to prioritize equipment repairs and minimize downtime. Follow all plant safety procedures, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures while working around industrial machinery. Qualifications Hands-on experience with mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, field service, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or a related mechanical background. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and determine the root cause of mechanical problems. Experience repairing or replacing components such as bearings, chains, belts, sprockets, gearboxes, motors, pumps, rollers, or similar mechanical equipment. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment used to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues. Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment inspections. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting is a plus. Basic electrical troubleshooting experience involving motors, sensors, switches, wiring, or multimeters is a plus. Experience with conveyors, PLC-controlled equipment, welding, fabrication, or other industrial machinery is a plus. Previous industrial maintenance, manufacturing, millwright, field service, construction equipment, heavy equipment, or mechanical service experience is preferred. Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow lockout/tagout procedures. Ability to work in an active industrial manufacturing environment around machinery, noise, heat, and production equipment. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and interested in continuing to grow their industrial maintenance skills.

Pay:

$30.60 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
