Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will keep equipment running smoothly, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and support the overall safety and functionality of our environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced setting while contributing to a well-maintained and safe workplace. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct appliance repair and installation, including kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, refrigeration units, and other appliances. Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at different locations or job sites. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in compliance with operational standards. Support construction or renovation projects by assisting with equipment installation or system upgrades when needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of HVAC system repair including air conditioning units and HVAC & appliance technology. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems efficiently. Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies and equipment. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for accurate diagnostics. Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Leadership qualities that support teamwork and safety initiatives are highly valued.
