Job Description
Local agency seeking an individual to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in connection with the maintenance and repair of its buildings, grounds, systems and equipment. This position requires the ability to perform routine carpentry, plumbing, electrical and masonry work. Individual must be able to safely operate tools and equipment used in building maintenance. Qualified individual must possess a High School Diploma/GED preferably supplemented by vocational school training in carpentry, electricity, plumbing, HVAC, or related with journeyman level skill in one of the recognized building trades; have at least 3 years progressively responsible experience in building & grounds maintenance, building construction, or related. Individual must have a valid driver's license, pass a criminal background check & drug screen test. Position requires mandatory on-call rotation.
