3002564822-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Healthcare Services Group is seeking a reliable Floor Tech to support housekeeping operations in healthcare facilities. In this onsite role, you will clean, strip, wax, and refinish hard floors, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment for patients, residents, and staff. You'll operate and maintain floor care equipment, follow strict infection control and OSHA safety procedures, and coordinate work with nursing and housekeeping teams to minimize disruption to care. Responsibilities Clean, strip, wax, buff, and refinish hard floors according to facility standards. Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, burnishers, and buffers. Follow infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines at all times. Inspect floors and report needed repairs, hazards, or supply needs to supervisors. Coordinate with housekeeping and nursing staff to minimize disruption to patient care. Mix and use cleaning chemicals safely and according to manufacturer instructions. Maintain accurate cleaning schedules and complete assigned work orders. Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed to support facility cleanliness. Participate in ongoing training and development provided by Healthcare Services Group.
