Nationwide Travel Required About Us ACI Structured Cabling Solutions partners with General Contractors to deliver high•quality structured cabling installations across commercial, retail, warehouse, and large•scale rollout environments. Our crews focus on clean installations, organized labeling, and professional project execution to ensure smooth turnover to IT teams and follow-on trades. Position Overview ACI is currently seeking experienced Level 2 Structured Cabling Technicians for commercial projects nationwide. This is a travel position for technicians with experience in commercial low-voltage and structured cabling installations. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Responsibilities Install, terminate, and test Cat6, and Cat6A copper cabling Pull, route and dress fiber optic cabling Install and dress cables in IDF/MDF cabinets Install WAP's, devices, racks, cabinets and cable pathways Perform Fluke cable certification testing Maintain clean cable management and labeling standards Read and follow blueprints and telecommunications drawings Work efficiently in active commercial and warehouse environments Follow OSHA and jobsite safety requirements Requirements Minimum 2+ years of structured cabling experience Experience with commercial, warehouse and construction environments Ability to read prints and telecom drawings Experience installing IDFs, MDFs, racks, and patch panels Experience with Security Cabling, Access Control, and Intrusion System installations Knowledge of BICSI standards preferred OSHA 10 preferred Must have hands-on experience pulling, routing, and terminating low voltage security cabling Must have own basic tools Reliable transportation Must be dependable, punctual and able to travel nationwide Ability to work at heights and use lifts when required Compensation 1099 subcontractor position Competitive hourly or project-based rates Nationwide travel opportunities Long-term project opportunities for qualified technicians
