Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, AZ Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2:30

PM Hours:

40 hours per week with unlimited overtime

Pay:

$25 to $34 per hour

Contract to Hire Position Overview We are seeking hands on DC Installers and Cabling Technicians to support a large scale infrastructure project at the airport. This role focuses on building and organizing the physical network infrastructure that powers data centers and central plant environments. This is a field based role where you will be installing, routing, and managing copper and fiber cabling systems. You will work alongside electricians, network engineers, and other low voltage technicians to ensure clean, efficient, and reliable installations. Key Responsibilities Install, route, and secure copper and fiber optic cabling Perform stitching and lacing to properly organize cable bundles Install cable trays, racks, and support structures Label and document all cable runs accurately Work in both central plant and office plant environments Follow all project guidelines and safety procedures Collaborate with team members to complete installations on schedule What You Will Be Doing (Big Picture) Build and install network infrastructure from the ground up Ensure clean and organized cabling for long term reliability Support large scale environments such as airports and data centers Requirements At least 1 year of experience in DC installation or structured cabling Experience with fiber and copper cabling preferred Comfortable working in an airport or large facility environment Ability to work full time, Monday through Friday Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Reliable and able to work in a team environment Why This Role Matters Clean installs help prevent outages and downtime Proper cable management makes future upgrades easier and faster You will be part of a long term, high impact infrastructure project Benefits Unlimited overtime opportunities Long term 3 year project with stability Opportunity to convert to a full time employee
