Position:

The Field Technician I is an entry-level role designed for individuals who are eager to begin a career in commercial audiovisual integration. This position supports installation projects through material handling, basic installation activities, cabling assistance, and jobsite preparation while learning company standards, safety requirements, and AV technologies. Working under the guidance of Senior Field Technicians and Field Foremen, the Field Technician I focuses on skill development, reliability, safety, and delivering quality work as part of a collaborative field team.

What You Will Do:

Assist with the installation of audiovisual equipment, including displays, speakers, cameras, and related AV technologies under supervision. Support material handling, unpacking, staging, tool preparation, and jobsite organization activities. Assist with structured cabling, cable routing, cable dressing, labeling, and basic terminations as training and experience develop. Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas while protecting customer property and equipment. Follow company installation standards, safety procedures, and jobsite requirements at all times. Participate in onboarding, technical training, and ongoing skill development opportunities. Assist with project documentation, photo documentation, reporting, and communication of project issues or material shortages.

What We're Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. OSHA 10 Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment through company-supported training. Prior experience in audiovisual, low-voltage, electrical, construction, or related technical work environments preferred. Entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn and develop technical skills are encouraged to apply.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 75 lbs. with assistance. Ability to travel and work overtime as business needs require. Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
