In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing surveillance systems, access control, and low-voltage electrical security systems across various client sites. Your expertise will ensure the safety, security, and operational efficiency of our clients' physical security infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service to our customers. Duties Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance systems, including cameras, monitors, and remote access software. Perform electrical wiring and cabling for low-voltage security systems such as alarm systems, access control, sensors, and fire alarms. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate system installation and integration. Conduct system design assessments to recommend optimal placement of cameras, sensors, and other security components. Maintain and repair computer hardware related to security systems and network connectivity issues. Support field service operations by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and performing preventive maintenance on electrical security systems. Collaborate with clients to provide technical troubleshooting support and ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional service. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in electrical security systems such as CCTV, alarm & access control systems, or fire alarms. Strong mechanical knowledge of low-voltage electrical wiring, cabling techniques, and equipment troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts related to surveillance systems including remote access software. Familiarity with interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and system design documentation. Knowledge of IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), sensors, power tools, hand tools, and electrical blueprint reading is highly desirable. Previous experience working with physical security system troubleshooting in diverse environments is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients of varying technical backgrounds.
