Regent5 is hiring a Low Voltage Technician to join our field team. We specialize in high-end residential electrical and technology systems throughout the Bay Area. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in clean, professional installation work. Responsibilities Install and terminate Cat5e/Cat6, coax, speaker wire, fiber, and control wiring Install TVs, speakers, cameras, access points, keypads, touchscreens, and other low-voltage devices Perform trim-out and final device installation Build, wire, and organize equipment racks Label and test cabling Read plans, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation Troubleshoot basic wiring and connectivity issues Maintain clean and organized job sites Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and other field technicians Protect finished surfaces while working in high-end homes Qualifications Previous low-voltage, AV, networking, security, or home automation experience preferred Experience terminating RJ45 and other low-voltage connections Comfortable using hand and power tools Able to read plans and follow technical instructions Strong attention to detail Reliable and punctual Valid driver's license Able to lift equipment and work from ladders when required Experience with Crestron, Savant, Lutron, Control4, Ubiquiti/UniFi, surveillance, access control, distributed audio/video, or motorized shades is a plus. Certifications are not required if you have strong hands-on experience and are willing to learn. What We Look For Our projects are high-end custom homes, so quality matters.
