Technician, where you will play a vital role in designing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced security and surveillance systems. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge low-voltage electrical systems, including CCTV cameras, Video Management Systems (VMS), access control, sensors, and fire alarm systems. As a key technical expert, you will ensure the seamless operation of security infrastructure across diverse environments, delivering exceptional service and support to clients. Your expertise will help safeguard assets and enhance physical security measures through innovative system integration and reliable technical solutions. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain CCTV surveillance cameras, VMS platforms, alarm systems, access control devices, sensors, and fire alarm systems in compliance with electrical blueprints and schematics. Troubleshoot equipment issues related to computer hardware, network connectivity, low-voltage wiring, and system components using hand tools and power tools. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately wire low-voltage electrical systems and integrate door security systems with existing infrastructure. Provide on-site field service for system repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting of physical security systems including alarm & access control systems. Support remote access software setup and configuration to enable real-time monitoring and system management from off-site locations. Conduct comprehensive testing of security equipment to ensure optimal performance; perform routine inspections of sensors, cabling, and network connections. Collaborate with clients to deliver technical troubleshooting support while maintaining excellent customer service standards throughout all interactions. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in electrical security system installation and maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in cabling, low-voltage electrical wiring, and electrical blueprint reading. Familiarity with surveillance technology including CCTV cameras, VMS platforms, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), sensors, and alarm & access control systems. Knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to security system integration; ability to troubleshoot equipment connectivity issues effectively. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics for system design or repair purposes. Experience working with fire alarm systems or physical security systems is highly desirable. Ability to utilize hand tools and power tools safely for installation tasks; comfortable working in various environments requiring physical activity.
