This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilize advanced tools, and deliver exceptional service to residential and commercial clients. Your expertise will help ensure reliable telecommunications infrastructure, supporting high-speed internet, television, and phone services. Duties Install, test, and repair fiber optic and coaxial cables for residential and commercial telecommunications systems Use hand tools such as wire strippers, wire crimpers, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to complete installations accurately Operate company vehicles safely to reach job sites promptly and efficiently Perform fiber splicing to connect fiber optic cables with precision for optimal signal quality Set up satellite dishes, Ethernet connections, telephony systems, and other telecommunications equipment Conduct equipment testing using tools like ohmmeters and other testing devices to ensure network integrity Follow safety protocols during outdoor work activities involving ladder use, electrical work, and outdoor environment conditions Experience Proven experience working as a telecommunications infrastructure technician or service technician in network installation or related fields Familiarity with Cisco routers, Ethernet cabling, and computer networking principles Hands-on experience with telecommunication cable installation in residential settings or outdoor environments Knowledge of electrical work standards and mechanical skills necessary for cable routing and equipment setup Customer service experience to effectively communicate with clients during installations or troubleshooting sessions Ability to operate field service equipment confidently while adhering to safety guidelines Prior experience with satellite dish installation, equipment testing, and working with various telecommunication components Embark on a career that combines technical expertise with customer-focused service!
