Job Description

Security & Communication Installation Tech $60-$80K - Denver,CO About the Role FuzeHR Solutions is seeking a Security & Communications Installation Technician. Will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of access control, CCTV, security, structured cabling, and voice/data systems in both commercial and residential environments. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Payrate Based on Experience $60-$80K Job Duties Install, configure, test, and service security and communication systems. Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs to restore proper functionality. Pull, route, install, and terminate low-voltage cabling, including:
CAT5 CAT6 22/8C 16/2C
Other structured cabling and low-voltage wiring Install and terminate: CCTV cameras Access control systems Card readers Motion detectors Exit devices Data jacks Other security and communications equipment Install cable support systems including ladders, racks, and J-hooks. Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams. Ensure all installations meet company standards, customer requirements, and applicable codes. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used. Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Follow all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications/Job Details High school diploma or equivalent. Security installer license or low voltage license Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to travel to customer sites as needed. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience installing and servicing voice, data, security, access control, and CCTV systems. Working knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addressing and network connectivity. Industry certifications or the ability to obtain required licenses and certifications. Experience working in commercial and residential environments. Ownership of basic low-voltage tools, including: Punch-down tools Wire strippers Snips Cordless drill Other standard technician tools Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation package, including pay advancement opportunities for industry certifications and continuing education.
