We're hiring a CCTV/Access Control Installation & Service Technician in Melbourne, FL for a 30+ week contract-to-hire position with a company vehicle provided on your first day. What We Offer $25-$35/hour (Based on Experience) Company Vehicle Provided on Day One Contract-to-Hire Opportunity 30+ Week Assignment with the opportunity to become a permanent employee Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Overtime available (including occasional nights and weekends) Responsibilities Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial CCTV and access control systems. Install and wire access control panels, readers, door hardware, locks, and network cameras. Pull, terminate, label, and test low voltage and structured cabling. Install raceway, conduit, J-hooks, cable tray, and other cable support systems. Program and commission access control systems (programming experience is a huge plus but not required). Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation drawings. Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs with minimal supervision. Communicate professionally with customers and provide outstanding service. Maintain quality workmanship while following all safety standards. Assist and mentor junior technicians when needed. Qualifications Experience installing and servicing commercial Access Control and CCTV systems. Experience installing IP cameras, card readers, door hardware, control panels, and structured cabling . Knowledge of low voltage wiring methods and installation best practices. Ability to read blueprints, wiring schematics, and construction drawings. Experience installing cable supports including J-hooks, conduit, raceway, and cable tray . Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must live in or be within a reasonable commute of Melbourne, FL .
