North Miami, FL Pay:
$22•32/hour (DOE)

Full-time About Us Systems Design and Integration is a North Miami-based technology integration company specializing in residential and commercial low-voltage systems. We provide structured cabling, networking, security, audio/video, access control, and smart home solutions. Our reputation is built on quality workmanship, professionalism, and long-term client relationships. We are seeking a motivated and reliable Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems while maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service. Required Qualifications 2+ years of low-voltage installation experience Experience pulling and terminating CAT5e, CAT6, coaxial, fiber, and speaker cable Knowledge of structured cabling standards and best practices Experience with network equipment installation and basic troubleshooting Familiarity with A/V, security, surveillance, access control, and automation systems Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams Experience using testing and certification equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. English required (spoken and written) Spanish is a plus Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and as part of a team Key Responsibilities Pull, route, label, and terminate low-voltage cabling Install and service structured cabling systems Install network equipment, wireless access points, cameras, access control devices, and A/V equipment Test and troubleshoot cabling and connected systems Ensure installations meet industry standards and company quality requirements Maintain accurate job documentation and records Keep work areas organized, clean, and safe Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and team members Provide excellent customer service during all project phases Assist with system startup, testing, and commissioning Preferred Qualifications Experience with CCTV, access control, networking, or residential A/V systems OSHA Certification BICSI, CEDIA, or other low-voltage industry certifications Experience working in residential and commercial environments Background Check / Drug Testing Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation:
