•1099 Contractor•Multiple Positions Available. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cable / Fiber Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field service and telecommunications, with a focus on installing and maintaining cabling systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in computer networking, ensuring that all installations meet industry standards for quality and safety. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of cabling systems, including Ethernet and telecommunications wiring. Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test and verify cable integrity and performance. Collaborate with clients to assess their networking needs and provide tailored solutions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in various environments. Document installation processes, service reports, and any changes made during the installation. Work with Cisco routers and other networking equipment to establish reliable connections. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Requirements Proven experience in field service or related roles within the telecommunications industry. Strong knowledge of cabling techniques and computer networking principles. Familiarity with testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Experience working with Cisco routers is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Must be 18 to apply. $800.00 - $1,200.00 per week
