The primary responsibility of this role is to support the physical infrastructure of our network and security systems, specifically focusing on low-voltage cabling and the installation of surveillance hardware. Key Responsibilities 
Cabling:
Install, terminate, and test Cat6 data cabling in various environments, including office spaces, warehouses, and commercial facilities. 
Security Systems:
Mount, aim, and configure security cameras (IP and analog) to ensure optimal coverage and performance. 
Infrastructure Support:
Install cable pathways, such as J-hooks, cable trays, and conduit, while maintaining clean and organized cable management standards. 
Testing & Troubleshooting:
Perform cable certification testing and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure all systems meet project specifications. 
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of cable runs, device locations, and system configurations. 
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards (e.g., BICSI, NEC) while working on-site. Qualifications  Proven experience in low-voltage cabling and network infrastructure installation.  Proficiency in pulling, terminating, and testing Cat6 cabling.  Hands-on experience with mounting and installing various types of security cameras.  Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical schematics.  Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.  Ability to work in various environments, including heights (ladders/lifts) and tight spaces.  Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.  Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 10, BICSI Installer, or manufacturer-specific security certifications) are a plus. Physical Requirements  Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.  Comfortable working on ladders and elevated platforms.  Ability to stand, kneel, and crawl for extended periods as required by job site conditions.
Pay:
$26.00 - $34.00 per hour
