(PSI) has an immediate need for a Lead Low Voltage Technician for our project in Atlanta, GA. We're looking for a technician with extensive experience installing Structured Cabling and additional experience mounting and connecting end devices for Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm systems. Responsibilities This candidate will focus on installing Structured Cabling Systems to include Category 6/6A, single mode and multi-mode fiber cable, Telecom Room build-out, Data Center build-out, and all associated testing and cable certification. Additional experience is required around installing and connecting Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm end devices and assisting the Systems Tech with system startup. Needs experience installing a wide range of low voltage cabling to include Cat-6/6A jack terminations at patch panels and faceplates; some manufacturer's or BICSI Installer certification is a plus. Will be responsible for managing a crew of up to five technicians and installers on typical project assignments.
