Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems across various client sites. Your expertise will ensure the seamless operation of telecommunications, networking, and security systems, providing exceptional service that aligns with our commitment to outstanding client experiences. Responsibilities Install and configure low-voltage systems including CCTV, fiber optic networks, structured cabling, and telecommunication systems. Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to accurately install and maintain communication systems. Conduct routine inspections of low-voltage electrical wiring, network cabling, and telecommunication infrastructure. Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters (ohmmeters), and telecommunications testing equipment to complete installations and repairs efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in field service roles involving low-voltage electrical wiring, network installation, or telecommunication systems. Experience working with CCTV cameras, access control systems, VoIP telephony, and radio frequency (RF) testing is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately; familiarity with Cisco routers, Juniper devices, Avaya systems preferred. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools such as certifiers, cable testers, and telecommunication testing equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Capable of working with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing devices safely and effectively.
