Join our dynamic team as a Samsara 360° Multi-Camera Installation Technician on a 1099 contract basis! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting advanced multi-camera systems designed to enhance vehicle safety and operational efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES

Technicians may be responsible for: Installing Samsara multi-camera systems Installing AI dash cameras Installing vehicle gateways Installing exterior/auxiliary cameras Determining proper camera placement Routing and securing camera cables Making professional electrical connections Concealing and protecting wiring Testing installed cameras Verifying camera angles and views Confirming device connectivity Commissioning equipment Uploading required installation photographs Recording VINs and device serial numbers Completing installation documentation Troubleshooting installation issues

SAMSARA EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED

We are specifically interested in technicians with hands-on experience involving: Samsara MultiCam / multi-camera systems Samsara AI Dash Cams Exterior and auxiliary cameras Samsara Vehicle Gateways GPS and telematics equipment Camera placement and alignment Commercial vehicle electrical systems 12V/24V electrical systems Hardwire power and ground connections Fuse-panel connections Professional cable routing Device activation and commissioning Installation documentation Troubleshooting

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have: Previous fleet telematics installation experience Samsara installation experience strongly preferred Multi-camera installation experience Knowledge of 12V/24V vehicle electrical systems Professional automotive installation tools Digital multimeter Smartphone with reliable data service Reliable transportation Ability to travel Ability to work independently Excellent cable-management skills Strong troubleshooting ability Professional communication and appearance

REQUIRED TOOLS

Technicians are expected to have their own professional installation tools, including: Digital multimeter Wire strippers/crimpers Electrical hand tools Drill/driver Trim removal tools Fish tape/pull tools Torx/socket sets Cable-management tools Smartphone/tablet as required Other standard commercial telematics installation equipment $1,750-$1,900 per week, based on experience Payments are issued every two weeks (biweekly). For two full qualifying workweeks, technicians can expect $3,500-$3,800 gross per two-week pay period. 1099 Independent Contractor Travel Expenses This is a traveling contractor opportunity.
