Security Integrated Networx is looking for experienced Data Center Cable Testing Technicians to support a long-term data center project. The primary responsibility will be testing and documenting Cat6 copper and fiber optic cabling to ensure all installations meet project requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities Test Cat6 and other copper data cabling. Test fiber optic cabling and verify cable performance. Operate a Fluke DSX CableAnalyzer for copper testing and CertiFiber Pro for fiber. Understand and interpret test results and identify failures. Perform troubleshooting and retesting when cables do not pass. Maintain accurate testing records and documentation. Work with installation teams to identify and correct cabling issues. Follow all data center safety requirements and site procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Required Qualifications Previous experience testing structured cabling in a data center environment . Must have hands-on experience using a Fluke DSX tester. Experience testing Cat6/Cat6A copper cabling. Experience testing fiber optic cabling. Ability to read cable labels, drawings, and test documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. Preferred Qualifications Experience with data center construction and structured cabling. BICSI certification or related training. Experience with fiber testing equipment such as OTDR and light source/power meter. OSHA or data center safety training. Project Information This is a temporary position supporting a project expected to last approximately one year . Candidates should be prepared to commit to the project timeline and maintain consistent attendance throughout the project.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
