We are seeking experienced Structured Cabling Technicians for a data center project in Cedar Rapids. Candidates should have commercial cabling experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Install, pull, dress, label, and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling. Build out MDF/IDF rooms, including racks and patch panels. Perform cable testing and troubleshooting using appropriate testing equipment. Work within commercial building environments, including schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, and data centers. Maintain organized, professional cable installations while following project specifications and safety requirements. Work collaboratively with other technicians and project teams to complete installations on schedule.

Qualifications:

Previous commercial structured cabling experience required. Experience working in commercial buildings such as schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, or data centers. Hands-on experience with Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling. Experience building out MDF/IDF rooms, racks, and patch panels. Familiarity with cable testing equipment and testing procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule & Pay:

First-shift commercial schedule. Monday through Saturday. 40-60 hours per week, depending on project needs. Pay based on experience. Data center project located in Cedar Rapids, IA. #BWC1

Pay:

$20.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
