Job Description
Job description Independent Contractor role, with an opportunity to secure full Time work order capacity for individuals with experience or knowledge in Fiber installation industry. Please provide a resume if interested and want to be in consideration for independent contract work.
Responsibilities:
- Providing new installations, upgrade/troubleshooting of Fiber/coax Residential and business services. Troubleshooting, programming, installing and configuring client Specific SOW (Scope of Work)
- Ability to obtain or own a white Utility van/truck with secure storage
- Ability to obtain or have Tools related to job
- Experience in safe practices of use of Ladder to access Rooftops and/telephone poles
- Working outdoors in all types of weather and environments, as well as in and around different types of residential/business settings (some open and operating at the time of service) and locations.
- Physically demanding work that includes a great deal of walking, bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, and lifting while wearing a tool belt.
- Traveling, sitting, or standing for extended periods of time.
- Potential to drive 25% or more of the day.
- Loading, unloading, carrying, and using multiple types of ladders, some weighing up to 75 lbs. and 28' high on a regular basis.
- Working in small, tight confined spaces where movement can be restricted

Qualifications:
- Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR.
- Ability to pass background check and Drug screen
- 1+ Years experience in Fiber/coax Installation Industry
- Have or ability to Obtain tools and Vehicle for contract (Utility Van/Truck white 2014 or newer) All vehicles are subject to approval prior to contract initiation and must be able to hold 28' ladder
- Able to work full time with an open flexible schedule and willing to work weekends and holidays when necessary to meet client needs/ system demands.
- Comfortably and safely work at height (28'+) and in confined or restrictive areas.
- Flexibility to travel for work orders locally, statewide, or regionally as requested.
- Possess self-driven qualities to effectively manage your own schedule, travel times, and meet client time frames.
- Assume full responsibility for safe operation.
