The professional designs optical paths and passive optical networks. They have a good understanding of the types of cables, cable color codes, and other cabling techniques. Who are we? We are a telecommunications company based out of the Midwest, but we work nationwide, and contract out for telecommunications installations ranging from CATV only installs to full cable, internet (broadband) and phone, as well as fiber splicing. What's the job? Travel Technicians travel from project to project for 6-8 weeks at a time Performs residential and commercial installation of internet, phone and cable services Troubleshoot and fix service issues Delivers a spectacular customer experience Requires carrying and climbing 28-32 foot ladder safely Requires ability to work outdoors, on ladders, and in various environments Does this sound like you? Installation & Repair Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and clean driving record Experience in fiber optic installations Experience in satellite, cable, or telecommunications Customer-focused, willing to go above and beyond to ensure customers are 100% satisfied Hard worker that likes to learn, grow and be busy Not afraid of heights (poles, roofs, towers) or crawl spaces.
