Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Installation Technician, where you will be at the forefront of installing and maintaining systems and products. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting a wide range of systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance. Your expertise in network installation, low voltage/cable management and equipment testing will be vital in providing reliable solutions that keep our clients connected. Duties Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems. Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests. Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements. Keeps company equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records. Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. Counting, verifying and reporting on inventory Aid and support for incoming inquiries and issues related to company systems and equipment Skills Proven experience in working as an installation technician with knowledge of cable installation techniques. Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service equipment. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wire strippers, wire crimpers, screwdrivers, and power tools for precise installations. Ability to operate electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters for diagnosing circuit issues. Mechanical aptitude to handle various installation environments effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely in different conditions.
