Job Description Access Control/CCTV Technician - Security Systems Travel | Hickory, KY Join Next Level Technician as an Access Control/CCTV Technician. Earn $25-$40/hr based on experience, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady long-term work with a national leader in low voltage staffing. Apply now!
Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, service, and program/commission security and access control systems Install door hardware including mag locks, electric strikes, and related components Install, service, and troubleshoot CCTV systems Read and interpret access control and CCTV blueprints Work safely on ladders and lifts (must be comfortable with heights) Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites including schools, hospitals, offices, retail spaces, and warehouses
Requirements:
3+ years of commercial installation experience (access control and/or CCTV) Working knowledge of telecom and data networks Programming experience in access control and CCTV (a plus) Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications (a plus) Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots) Travel regularly to job sites, including overnight and multi-week assignments Maintain a clean, professional presence on customer sites Document work completed and report issues or delays to project leadership Preferred Qualifications Experience working on commercial, enterprise, or mission-critical projects Familiarity with
CCTV, IP
cameras, and networking fundamentals Manufacturer certifications (Verkada, Lenel, Genetec, etc.) OSHA 10/30, lift certification, or BICSI credentials Why Work with Next Level Technician as a Travel Technician?
