Company Overview Scout Networks is an IT Solutions provider based in Louisville, Kentucky. We provide Structured Cabling, Managed IT Services, Voice & Bandwidth Solutions and On-Premise Network Solutions to valued clients throughout Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio. Job Summary We are looking for a Low Voltage Technician with a minimum of two years of job experience. This is a hands-on position that will require commercial Low Voltage installation ability along with the willingness to learn new technical skills. The right candidate possesses a track record in cable installation and the ability to follow safety and quality standards while working with a team that takes pride in our finished product. Bottom line, we are looking for a candidate that is growth oriented, dependable and wants to be part of a team environment of like-minded individuals.

Based on experience Major Responsibilities & Duties Install cable pathways- Install, terminate, test and document low voltage cabling according to plans
- Dress and route cabling into telecom closets and rack systems
- Firestop various types of cable penetrations
- Possess working knowledge of cabling standards
- High attention to detail is required
- Working knowledge of powered man-lifts, cable testers and specialty testers used on a regular basis Job Requirements /
Qualifications:
Minimum two years experience in pulling and terminating CAT6 cable. Experience installing CCTV cameras is a PLUS Experience in installing Access Control systems is a PLUS Experience in installing and terminating Fiber is aMAJOR PLUS
Must have basic telecom hand tools Our Cabling Techs interact daily with our Network Team and basic knowledge of network equipment is a PLUS High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly- the first time.
